Such processing takes place, both by IDF itself in Luxembourg, and in the framework of the activities of its Belgian subsidiary, International Duty Free Belgium NV/SA (“IDF Belgium”) (with registered office at Vliegveld 132a, 1820 Steenokkerzeel, registered in the Belgian Company Register with number 0424.748.350). IDF Belgium is responsible for the day-to-day operation of this web shop.

Any reference in this Privacy Policy “we”, “us” or “our” will be meant to designate IDF and IDF Belgium jointly. 
The protection of your privacy and the security of your personal data are very important to us. We will therefore collect, treat and further process all personal data submitted by you through this website, or obtained as a result of the use made by you of this website, in accordance with the provisions of the EU Data Protection Directive, the applicable implementing national data protection legislation, and with any other applicable legislation. How do we collect your personal data?

We collect your personal data (name, address, e-mail, phone number, flight data, etc.) whenever you contact us (by ordinary mail, e-mail or telephone), when you browse our website (e.g. IP address, personal preferences), whenever you register/login to our web shop (identification data, flight data, previous orders, etc.) and whenever place an order in our web shop.

We also receive certain data directly from Brussels Airlines. For example, when you are logged in on the Brussels Airlines website and you click through to our web shop, some data (such as your name, address, flight number, etc.) will already be pre-filled-in. This allows us to enhance your user experience. It also allows us to check your reservation number and flight destination in order to determine the applicable VAT regime. In addition, by connecting to Brussels Airlines’ Miles & More database, we allow you to collect Miles by purchasing certain products on our website.

What do we use your data for?

We may use your data for the following purposes:
• Administration of our customer database
• Follow-up and delivery of orders
• Follow-up of (re)payments and product returns
• Exchanges with Brussels Airlines’ Miles & More database
• Compliance with legal (e.g. product recall) obligations 
• Advertising and promotional purposes (if you have subscribed hereto)
• Aggregation and anonymizing of personal data for statistical/analytical purposes
Your data will be stored for these purposes for a maximum duration of 20 years.

Who will have access to your personal data?

We may share your personal data with other entities of the IDF Group, with Brussels Airlines, and with some of our contractual partners (such as logistic firms, airport operating firms), e.g. in order to ensure the proper follow-up of orders and deliveries. Appropriate organizational and technical measures will be taken to ensure the security of your data. Unless for the purpose of providing you with such services and information you require, we will not disclose your personal information to any other third parties without your prior consent, unless we are legally forced to do so.
While your data may be transferred to other EEA countries, they will in any case not be transferred to any country outside the EEA.
